A wonderful day

I have been working hard and not sleeping. But I slept heavily on Friday night and woke to the full sun of a perfect London sunny day. Opening the blinds and feeling the heat of it filled me with joy.

Sunny

My friend Dan came down from Cambridge and we had coffee and food at the Borough Markets.

There was a lot of cheese there.

The native, non-farmed oysters were really delicious. Very different to Australian ones. Not as strong or salty, but big and creamy.

Then Dan and I went to Hampstead Heath and sunbaked. I was quite enchanted. I love big public spaces like that. Everyone was so happy.

There was alot of semi-nakedness and drums being beaten. It wasn't hard to imagine London in the 60s.

Then we went to Islington to see friends.
