Beached
I have been at my desk working on the edit of Bird (it's coming out in June) but all this summery-ness has been making me pine for the beach. Michelle and Chris have been in Pt Arlington, and they picked me up this perfect sea urchin and gave it to me when they came around last night. In my rush to serve drinks etc, I put it on the coffee table. This morning I was quite struck by where I'd put it. It seemed to me serendipity of some kind.
