Cambridge
I couldn't have picked a more perfect time to go to Cambridge. I was there because my very smart and lovely friend, Daniel Joyce, lives there.

And also because Leonard Woolf went to Trinity College (as does Dan, in fact).

You could come at this place from so many directions. Class. Privlege. History. Pretty. Learning. Idyll. Myth. I'll just start with a few pictures.
Here's a shot of King's College.

And St John's. Both these are such a contrast to my experience of educational institution's I felt as if I'd landed on the moon :

The place was Spring perfect. This is just one of about 20 shots of blossom I took:

And I loved the Spring flowers.
There were swan's nesting, duckling and geese everywhere.

The whole place was just going off with the warm spring weather. There were undergrads making out along the river. The place smelt of blossom. Everyone was drinking beer out in the sun. It was very energised, and yes, reeked of sex, youth and privlege. And yes, I envied them all.
