Childless

Clive Hamilton gave John Birmingham a necessary serve in the Sydney Morning Herald today. ' Along with a thousand letter writers, the author John Birmingham went into a frenzy of abuse in a newspaper article, calling Greer a bitchslapping, "poorly sketched caricature of a harridan", "an unwashed and wretched bag lady" and a "feral hag". Oh, and worst of all, "childless".' My friend Tom has written a good piece on the Birmingham article as well. As has Anonymous Lefty.

John, I use to be a fan of your work - particularly of Leviathan but as a childless, middle-aged (hag-like) woman, I am kind of getting the impression I'm not your audience anymore.
