Cool view

I'm in London (leaving tomorrow) and staying at a hotel I would highly recommend, called The Hoxton it's cool, well appointed, cheap (by expensive standards) and I liked the view outside our room.

It's on the edge of the East end, and not far from Brick Lane.

We ate at a Pakistani restaurant where I had the best Indian I've ever eaten, the only problem being they were so keen to get us out under the hour (because a queue to get in went around the block) that they tried to take my plate of food while I was still eating. After that we needed a drink.

Not sure what the internet situation will be in Spain, so I might be disappearing for a while. We have a few days in Barcelona, then go walking for 8 days in the area north of Barcelona. As a cabbie in Brighton said to me,'that's Salvador Dali country. I love Dali.' After a few minutes conversation about Dali's art I asked if he knew whether it was true if Dali ate his wife after she died and he said, 'well I don't know about after she died but he certainly did before.'
