Design
Virginia and I have just returned from 2 weeks in north QLD. One day we went for a walk to Kennedy Bay, just south of Mission Beach. All I could see were beautiful patterns - much of it courtesy of crabs - everywhere. Made me want to be a fabric designer.

Views from the Floor
Sue Lockwood says:
The beauty of such a blog is the combination of writing and visuals. Recently, on visiting a daughter in Noosa Heads, I spent time looking at the sky, the clouds changing constantly, building into black, leaking gold and red on the blue. I took pictures with my little digital camera, a record of the changes, but most of all felt the uncommon pleasure of keeping to one place for an extended time: once on a hilltop overlooking Noosa, once at the river, almost two hours, making pictures and associations until after sunset.
Writers are drawn to the visual, artists to the word.
I hope you have your photos displayed as art work. Unless you've had the designs transferred onto fabric.
