Easter
Over Easter Virginia and I went camping and hiking in the Howqua Valley with our friends Susannah and Tom. If Virginia was apprehensive, it was with reason.

The first stint was climbing 800 metres over 6 kilometers. I have been to the gym once in the last 3 months. So. We stayed at Refigerator Gap which was pretty, but there were lots of four-wheel drives and trail bikes whizzing past.
In the morning it was snowing.
And there was mist and snow on The Bluff. It was very beautiful.

About 16 kilometers later we were almost back at Eight Mile Creek.

Then we drove to the Merrijig Pub and ate a steak. An excellent end to an excellent Easter
