Goodbye London, hello Barcelona
Yesterday we left here:

And got here (the map of Barcelona is behind Virginia, who is impossible to photograph without a camera in her hand):

When we got to Barcelona we headed straight for our treat of the holiday:Casa Camper.

It's pretty well the most stylish urban hotel I've ever been in. Natural light in the bathroom from an internal garden. A separate living room. Free light food and (non-alcoholic) drinks day and night. It's a unbelievably beautifully designed. And yes, expensive (we are only staying for the one night then going to cheaper digs). And also yes, I am one of those Camper tragics that El refers to in her excellent latest post at Sarsparilla. The buying of shoes is for tomorrow. Tonight the tapas bars await.

A hotel dedicated to Campers? I was going to comment before I even got to the direct mention to moi. No Campers are to be had in central Australia, tho you can buy Naots and Catherine Manuell.

I was going to say, enjoy the paella. Particularly good in Barcelona, as I remember it, esp the black rice version.
