Happy Marilyn
As some of you will know Bird (my novel) was going to be called Dharma is a Girl's Best Friend. Anyway, I am doing permissions and general carry on which means that today I stumbled over the great Marilyn herself singing Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend. And to celebrate Obama winning Iowa, I'm throwing her rendition of Happy Birthday to a former Democrat President for good measure. (Though that joke about the 'late' Marilyn Monroe is pretty weird if you are into conspiracy theories).
