Heldanski

My friend Dan Dan, Hampstead Heath - 15 has got a fellowship to go to Helsinki for a year. I thought he would find this video [via Boing Boing), instructional. I should have watched it before I attempted to disco at a friend's wedding party last night. It's beyond tragic when you can't dance to Michael Jackson without having to take anti-inflammatories the next day. (Have I ever said, publicly that I think Don't Stop Till you Get Enough is the best dance song in the history of the world? Well, I say it now.) For a glorious hour or so the moves came back. Other highlights included Don't Blame it on the Boogieand KC and the Sunshine Band. The climax was We are family.

Virginia, who is 29, sat with another friend, who's close to 60. Both of them were horrified by the 45 year-olds music of choice. Though as we moved into the early Eighties Virginia was moved to take to the floor.
