Monty has died

I gave Monty money now and then when I went to Vic Market each week ( he was the blind man, in the North Melbourne footy jumper who sat at the entrance to the meat section as you went through to the deli) but I didn't really know his back story. As it turned out he lived out his last 20 years near where we live, and, last week, died. His story is very moving and, it's in own gentle way, uplifting.

Victoria Market is closed today
