Not feeling so gay today

There are so many reasons why I am ashamed to be Australian at the moment but, it's becoming increasingly clear that that is just how the government wants it. People like me to feel as if they are not citizens of this country. Read this article from today's Age which describes the government instructing that its embassy staff humiliate it’s own citizens: Gay men who are seeking to get married - legally - in another country. I am not even talking about the right to get married here - but the right to respect which Peter Kukucksa has been refused.
