If you go into San Nicolo, an extremely beautiful tiny church you will find a Signorelli (a Renaissance Cortona painter) above the altar.

Then, if you ask the caretaker to show you the second Signorelli she presses a button and Presto!

After that little surprise I walked half way down the hill with my friend Anna (an Australian studying in Pisa). Here's the view of Cortona from the modern cemetary below the town.
