Shirt drying weather

The average temperature in England in April is 11 degrees celcius. Each day I walked it was around 23 - 26. I got sun burnt. It didn't rain and the soil was dry. Great walking weather, I must say. It is the hottest April in England SINCE RECORDS BEGAN. That's 365 years. So. As you can imagine Global Warming is the topic of the moment here. Anyway, here is my personal evidence for Global Warming in Britain: my shirt drying, at 7 pm, on an April day (oh, yes, it's May 1, but it kind of counts).

And, since I haven't shown you enough Brighton shots, here's the almost full moon rising, taken by me, when slightly drunk because the tapas bar which offered a free glass of wine with food gave me close to half a bottle for free. Just to be friendly.

Pavlov's Cat says:

What a stunning photo! Beautiful. I was just looking at this very moon a few hours ago, very big and glowing here tonight as well.

sophie Cunningham says:

I love moons. I like that it's looking similar around the world - that idea that people I know are looking at the same sky. Or something.
