Smokier Wednesday

This isn't cloud cover, but smoke. It's smokier today than it was on Saturday. The air is thick, it smells of fire and when I rode into town at 7.15 am this morning (a highly unusual event . . .) the early morning sun was blood red as Virginia's beautiful photo of Moor Street shows you. Three hours later it's just a pale yellowy-grey.
