Sun day
Virginia and I have just had a lovely Sunday. We drove to the country to see if we could buy some land to put one of these on. Cheaper than a city place and the wonderful challenge of living (part-time) off the grid. Then we went to hear some music at Virginia's parent's house and lay around in the sun. I love this photo of a laughing Virginia, who, as usual, has a camera in her hand. (The cat to the left is Bird and Wilson's sister, Zadie).

Apropos not much I rread the most depressingly direct expression of one's worst fears in the Age today, by Ross Gittins.
The first par:
"I'VE just had a thought that will disturb the committed on both sides of the political fence: maybe with Kevin Rudd, what you see is what you get. We're so used to deception in politics that we expect to find it everywhere. But maybe the grand deception in this case is that there is none."
