The market is closed today
Victoria Market is one of my favorite places in the world.

When I lived in Sydney it was the place in Melbourne I missed most - it is to Melbourne what the beaches are to Sydney (and yes, I miss them too). Today I dropped my car off for a service near the markets then walked home. I have never actually walked through there on its closed days before. It was much calmer and instead of lots of vibrant colour there were lots of hession browns and blues.

With a delicate dash of green.
