The Wedding

Mala wore a tradition Javanese head of flowers for the wedding, Hair net made of jasmine flowersbut as you can see, she remains a modern woman.

There were lots of flower petals flung which Pia and Cassia played in. Pia and Cassie play in rose petals Even Dad and Mala's room was draped in flowers which, unfortunately, gave Dad hay fever. Decorating the bridal suite - 2 But he is a romantic, and tears poured down his face as Mala joined him at the altar.

Married

The service was, slightly incongruously, Christian. Mala was led to the aisle by Adrienne and I, and two traditional Balinese flower girls, who I later photographed on the beach. Flower girls Brian Adams played in the background and the sunset was glorious.Sunset on wedding night -1 It was like being on a movie set.

My sister-in-law, Adrienne, looked particularly beautiful, I thought. Here she is with Cassia, who seemed to have been overtaken by evil spirits (perhaps caught in Ogu Ogu parade?) for much of the day but who finally calmed down.
