I found having a pedicure strangely relaxing. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did.

Hi Sophie,
I hope you don't mind my commenting on your blog! I was just so captivated by your cat toes. I tend to blame a lot of my inability (read: procrastination), to write on my cat, Normie. Normie is short for Norma Jean. We called him this because of a little, mole-like patch of brown fur on his upper lip, which reminded me of Marilyn Monroe, and also because we thought for the first six months of his life that he was a girl (mostly due to the fact that he is very fluffy and thus his "manhood" was hard to identify). He still acts in a most feminine manner, to the disgust of his twin brother, Mephistopheles (Meph). He also has a very annoying, yet endearing, habit of sitting on my knee when I am writing and licking my fingers, making it soooo difficult to type!!!
I guess this is a long way of saying - I understand!
They are very cute, though ...
