Television

My TV column ended in mid-2005 so I don't get as many excuses to write about, or watch TV these days. Given how much programmers dick you around (calling repeats 'finales', running episodes out of order, running them late at night or not at all) and given my taste tends to run to shows like Buffy, Arrested Development and West Wing that stations are ambivalent about (excepting The O.C, which we all love), I get most of my televisual action via the DVD at the moment.

There is strength in this space between, an unresolved sexual tension that holds audience interest and provides narrative momentum, for many of our favourite television shows.
Alias & Outback House
In this, my last television column, I wax lyrical about Alias.
